He is Al-Imam Ahmad ibn Isa ibn Muhammad ibn Ali Al-'Uraidhi bin Ja'far Ash-Shodiq, and continued to continue his nasab until Rasulullah SAW. He is a man of greatness, virtue, glory, morals and benevolence. He is also a very generous and generous person.

He came from the country of Iraq, precisely in the city of Basra. When he reaches perfection in obedience and worship to Allah, his eyes shine and light the light of his wisdom, so that it is revealed to him the essence of the life of the world and the erhahat, which are good and bad things.

He in Iraq is a man of high standing and a prosperous life. However, when he began to see signs of the spread of the poison of lust there, he was more concerned with the safety of his religion and the delights to keep worshiping to Allah SWT. He began to turn away from it all and made up his mind to emigrate, with the intention of following God's command, "Hurry you to run to God ..."

As for the reasons why he decided to emigrate and save his religion and his family, due to the spread of ahlul bid'ah and the appearance of disturbance to the Alawiyyin, and so intense the intimidation that comes to them. At that moment there appeared a bunch of ruthless men who murdered and persecuted. They control the city of Basra and the surrounding areas. They are killing sadistic Muslims. They also denounce Muslim women and appreciate it for 2 dirhams. They killed about 300,000 people in a day. Ash-Shuly tells about this that the total number of Muslims killed at that time was as many as 1,500,000 inhabitants.

Their great leader is a fool who confesses that he is Ali bin Muhammad bin Ahmad ibn Ali ibn Isa bin Zainal Abidin, but the nasab is not there. He likes to berate Ustman, Ali, Talha, Zubair, Aisha and Muawiyah. This is one of the classes in the Khawarij.

Because of that cause, Al-Imam Ahmad decided to emigrate. Then in 317 H, he left his family and relatives from Basrah to Medina. Included in the group are his son Ubaidillah and his sons, Alwi (Ba'alawy's grandfather), Bashri (grandfather of the Bashri family), and Jadid (grandfather of the Jadid family). They are all Sunnis, scholars who practice their knowledge, Sufi people and sholeh. Also included in his entourage are his slaves and servants, and included in it is the grandfather of the Al-Ahdal family. And also include the grandfather of the family of Bani Qadim (Bani Ahdal and Qadim are descendants of his uncles).

      In the second year of his hijrah, he performed the pilgrimage with the people who joined the hijrah with him. Then after that, he continued his journey towards Hijrahnya Hadramaut. Enter him to the Hajrain area and stay there for a while. After that he went to the village of Jusyair. Shortly there, he then resumed his journey and finally arrived at the Husaisah area (the name of the village that was near Tarim). Finally he decided to stay there.

Since he settled there, the region began to detect. There he began to spread As-Sunnah. Many people there are insyaf and return to As-Sunnah thanks to him. He managed to save his offspring from the slander of the era.

His entry into Hadramaut and settled there bring a lot of great merit. So said a great scholar, Al-Imam Fadhl bin Abdullah bin Fadhl, "Out of my mouth the expression of praise to Allah. Whoever does not put a sense of husnudz dzon to the family of Ba'alawy, then there is no good to him. "Hadramaut be noble thanks to the existence of him and his descendants there. Sulthanah bint Ali Az-Zabiidy (may Allah bless him) had dreamed of meeting Rasulullah SAW, where in the dream the Prophet SAW entered into the residence of one Saadah Ba'alawy, saying, "This is the home of loved ones. This is the home of loved ones. "
